Shukran for the recipe. It's really great to make these with thin sliced mushrooms. Also baked with the chips. And to top with melted cheese.

If I could give this recipe 7 stars I would! Excellent, got tons of compliments for this 1 :) I use half the butter and add 3 tbsp lemon juice to the icing to give it a slight tang, tastes amazing!

Hi @Sham. This burfee resembles a thick batter therefore it needs 2 be poured in a mould or a normal glass dish (pyrex). Once it has set than you can use any fancy biscuit cutter to press out. Hope this helps.

Hi @ Abira. Hope you are well. I am sorry to hear this. Unfortunately I don't hv any knowledge about what you can substitute the liquid glucose for. However this is the most important ingredient for the nikkis. We do have very professional chefs and cooks on this site inshaa allah maybe they can help you.

Hello @ Melanie. If you using individual moulds then you need 1tsp of syrup for each mould. If using a big mould then use 3 to 4 tbls.
