@Cosmicgirl - No oil when boiling the oaya is very oily. The only time I added was when braising the dhal

Such a great recipe shukran! I pan fried the haddock with butter and 2 teaspoons crushed garlic and ginger paste before adding the sauce. It came out amazing ๐

@Tazzy - I am sorry I didn't turn out the way u want it to. I am happy you like the taste. Be sure to pre heat your oven before baking When making the cake sure to keep this in mind. Be sure to beat the sugar and butter for 5 to 10 mins. Don't open the oven till your time is up. Unless u think it's burning. And check your temperature of the oven. And check if it's done before taking it out of the oven.

I put this is 2 round pans ... it took about 35 mins to bake but it sunk wen I took it out the oven ... not what I had in mind for a birthday cake ... but it tasted Devine .... when the kids got home from School I put some pancake syrup n choc chips and let them have a treat
