@Naseema Khan (zulfis) - I wish i could jazakallah mince about kilo chicken 2 onions grated the rest u hve to put a tsp or little more i grated a thin slice butter.. bread soak around 2 or 3 slices i hope this helps.

Simple and came out lovely! Nothing like a lovely cup of tea, a beautiful view and ofcourse delicious scones! The key to scones is not to handle the dough too much. Simple and easy!

@Cosmicgirl - I also didn't halve the recipe. Got about 28 donuts...perfect :).
Great & easy recipe. I used 3/4 cup yogurt and 1/4 cup madila. Tip: next time l'll use a brush to glaze the top half of the donuts with the syrup. Dipping makes it quite sweet and also, the syrup tends to seep into the donuts making them syrupy/more dense. Depends if you have a very sweet tooth. The donut offcuts can also be used by kids to make shapes and fry.

Lagan turned out to be very dry. More like a cake, wouldn't recommend this recipe if one is looking for a moist lagan.
