You supposed to use plain flour in most biscuits not self raising. Add more elachi for burfee taste.
I do leave it to cool if I put fresh cream. If u putting jam you can put immediately and don't need to leave it to cool.

It was delicious. A full recipe made about 20 mini desserts. It was a great hit. I used 3 t falooda powder and it set (I may try 2 t next tome for a softer consistency). also not 2TBL of rose essence is too much - just 1 tsp is enough so it doesnt overpower
Spoon into plastic mini throwaways, and top with a dollop of nestle cream and sprinkle with coloured flaked or sliced almonds.
This was a bit of tricky recipe. The dough was so soft and difficult to work with. Perhaps plain flour is better (I used self raising). They looked good but didn't have a strong burfee taste so in the end they were more like plain biscuits!
Cut into shapes, dip in white chocolate and sprinkle with red almonds to give a 'rose' petal kind of look :)
