Farha, it's basically a ground Ginger and Garlic paste that has been ground with Red Whole chillies as well. Would be fine if u use just plain ginger garlic paste.
the sugar is it normal white sugar or castor sugar

Slm Fiya the batter isn't a thick one. It's not too runny either, it's in between. But whatever u do, don't add more flour

Looks great. the method is confusing. please can you clarify what gets beated first? seems wierd to beat oil and cocoa first...also Is it the egg yolk AND the egg whites that is needed. and what size pan is used. thanks

Slmz after u make the sugar mixture when u pour the sugar mixture into the roasted ingredients do mix the roasted ingredients and sugar mixture together or u just pour it ontop flaten and leave to cool?
