No I wouldn't advice doing that because the recipe has baking powder in it. But what you can do is bake it and pour sauce over. Cover with foil. Stays well in fridge. Re Heat before serving and serve with custard or ice cream. I've done this many times.

Made these yest...came out TOPS!! Pretty easy!! Omitted the tomatoes tho, added greens n sprinkled sesame seeds on the top. A suggestion...can add mayonnaise in between savoury muffin batter for a difference!!

Tazzy try to fry the potatoes before u put it in the oven, you probably baked it for too long, that's why it dried out. Different potatoes take different times to cook, use a soft cooking potato. Also try steaming it on the stove so its easy to keep checking instead of oven. Good luck

Im sorry to hear that. The recipe actually allows the patatoes to cook for a bit before going into the oven. I used bhimri rice and baby or medium cooking patatoes. Mayb you should leave the pot on the stove a little longer on low then add a little more water before putting into the oven. Its so disappointing when a recipe doesn work. I hope you have better luck next try.

My attempt at this was terrible... Used basmati rice... Rice is done potAtoes hard... N it's dry yet I used half the rice and chicken amount but the rest was as requested......???????
