Tried this recipe a few times now, its a new favourite in my household. I made it with both normal plain yoghurt and also with Lancewood coconut yoghurt, comes out better with the coconut yoghurt, I then add less dessicated coconut to the mixture. Totally love this recipe.

@Nashreen - Nope, it doesn’t get heated, but the vegaar will sizzle when u add it to the chutney and it gives a lovely aroma and taste 🌺🌸🌼
When you say make vagaar then add to sauce.... This means the sauce never gets heated with the vagaar and then cooled?

@Taryn - Hi Taryn. There is a possibility that you over boilt the syrup. You just need to check the stickiness in between your fingers so that it is the perfect consistency and doesn't overboil.
