Followed the recipe to the T. The cakes sank in the middle though. Also the texture wasn't as light as I wouldve liked. 1 cup castor is too much - three quarter is prob better. Yummy icing, which Ill be using again. Jzk

@Sumaiya - Maybe you added less sauce I don't ever follow the recipe measurements I adjust accordingly to my liking so I add more sauce. Next time you can add more sauce or even a bit of milk or cream to make it more saucy. Hope that's helpful

Yummmy,I added a layer of cheese(a combination of Tussers and Gouda)...a sprinkle of tomato,onion and green chillies and the delicious chicken and mayo filling....crisp butter toasted goodness...definitely a meal.....Shukran for sharing your recipes and for the privilege of trying it out...🌺
This recipe was perfect! If anyone found the water too much, perhaps when measuring the flour they can try pressing out the air pocket in the cup first. I used a measuring cup and measured everything and it was the perfect consistency. Maybe just add to the tips section.
