Mutton Haleem

Slmz, I prefer lot of Barley in haleem so used four in one soup mix and barley. Used fresh ginger and garlic and spices to braise the meat. Gonna freeze it smaller quanties for Days of Zul Hajj, need to add more dhania, mint and spring onions. JzksAllah

Fish Biryani

Slmz,Marsha Allah great receipe, love the idea of potatoe slices @ bottom of pot. Used fresh Salmon and made stock from the head and tail, with bay leaves, black whole pepper, cinnamon and elachi - used stock to soak masoor and rice - boiled with stock also. Used fresh ginger, garlic, spices and dhania and mint together with tomatoes in a blender. Placed pieces of fish with centre bone @ bottom of pot and few slices on top with marinade. @Ameena Atcha - The flour , salt and sugar is first places in a bowl , you make the hole in the center and pour just 50ml milk first to avoid lumps , then add the remaining milk and keep mix until your batter is the right consistency , i hope this make more sense to you
