Made the milktart but instead of the base I replaced it with crushed tennis biscuits. It came out very nice.

@TAZZY - heya its because you used the brown onion soup it changes the color completely and the brown onion soup changes the flavor also slightly

mine came out tangy..i think its the pineapple we have here ..the syrup is not sweetened....its like just preserved in water..in SA i think its in syrup

@FATHIMA - you cant really ommit it . wont take nice without the syrup the sweetness comes from syrup . like when you making baklava the syrup is a must . will come slightly soft just like as a baklava
