Approx how much flour?
Jazakallah. Really appreciate it. Going to try it for the first time.
I tried this recipe and added the amount of flour stated in the ingredients, however the mix didnt turn in to a dough at all. And so I made another batch and added 1 and 3/4 amount of flour the dough was perfect and the naan khatai turned out really good.
Wslm. You can steam it the same way u usually do if u prefer or add about 1/2 cup water and steam and check if it needs more water thereafter.
Aslm. How much water do I add to my rice? I usually steam my rice in a strainer with water underneath in a pot.
Can I use rama margarine?
Mehnaaz jee u mix and cook till thickens. Thickens quite fast so stand alone it and keep stirring
Maaf do you mix the set aside ingredients with the one that you boil on the stove? Just a bit confused about what to do.

Tried this, tasty filling Didnt have the piccalilli sauce here so I just omitted it

@miss moola u could use milk, but it comes out much fluffier with the buttermilk
