Yumna: Make caramel by placing a tin of condensed milk in a pot. Cover with water, making sure that the tin is fully submerged and bring to the boil. Simmer for about 3-4 hours, always making sure that the tin is submerged. It does take long but the results are well worth it and way better than the commercial caramel treat available.

What I did is baked the cake in a big enough pot (tuppelas..i.e the pots our mums use). Once baked I left it in the pot for abt 5 min, then turned it out carefully so it won't break and placed into my tuppuware. I then poked toothpicks into the cake and poured the hot sauce over and immediately covered the tuppaware. It was absolutely delicious. Anisa

Vanilla Squares With Granadilla

This is a very tasty n easy dessert, however my method is a bit different.. try beating up the fresh cream first, then add the milk and instant pudding and beat for exactly 1 minute. also instead of fresh granadillas, a tin of granadilla pulp can be used and i just put my sauce ingredients in a saucepan on the stove, very yum!
