I also tried it but i reduced the amount of cocoa powder. It does have a nice taste but i agree, the texture is more like a muffin. I think it would make lovely cup cakes. I also found that it took really long to bake.

Meali Meal Roti
2 cups flour
1/4 cup mealie meal
salt
1 cup boiled water - add 2tblsp milk
ghee

mix all ingredient together to form a soft dough, roll into one big roti, smear ghee , sprinkle flour, roll into swill roll, make small baklls.. this recipe usually makes about 4.. if you want it thick for Urad dhall..

Salam Anisa, no its not the same but you can make your own sourmilk / buttermilk by adding two tablespoons lemon juice / vinegar to every cup of milk. Stir well and allow to stand for 10 minutes before using :)
