Amina, the one with coconut milk is in the indian delights.
goes well with dhall and rice.... it was a good change to the usual "onion, tomato kachoomar"...

This recipe is delicious . Quick and easy to make. I also used less lemon juice.Will definitely make again.
This is a recipe that Ive always made repeatedly . Its always delicious.Kids love it. You probably did something wrong. Take a teaspoonful of batter only at a time and fry in oil.Maybe your oil was very hot therefore the centre was raw.

Slmz I've tried this recipe....its divine! I have made some alterations though. I seasoned it with lots of barbecue spice and spur chicken spice before grilling. I also prefered using lemon juice but only 1/4 cup or else it would be too tangy. Great recipe!! jazakAllah

salaams .@admin maaf.i usally use use oil dhall only.coz .da others dhals get tooo windy.lol.you should try it out. @MM786try the ready made fried onions,u'll find it at any spice shop.den make a vagaar wit green chillie whole ,curry leaves and whole jeero.
2T fresh cream can be added to this recipe as well
