It is supposed to be slightly runny and you just dish out a few teaspoons in a small bowl and eat. It is quite strong but lovely so have a little at a time.

OK. No reply to my enquiry so i used plain cake flour. Baked mixture in a 10\" tin for over an hour. Mixture was not a normal thick batter but slightly more runny due to oil being used. Cake was very light. Overall satisfied. Will be using this recipe again. Jazakallah for posting it.

Deep serving bowl to hold custard. Like your pasta casserole dish . Deep and wide.
Sorry to answer so late. If you don\'t wish to try this method. You could instead layer pancakes one over another with custard and sprinkle of flake between each layer . You could layer 4 at a time and decorate top layer with cream custard choc curls or strawberries. Slice like pizza to serve. Will send a pic soon as I make some.

Cake out the oven after nearly an hour in a 9\" cake tin. Heavy and when i cut into it, it was raw at the top. Followed the exact recipe. Very dissappointed. Wouldn\'t attempt again.

Hi melanie. I take it it is only 80g of melted butter. Do i measure the butter while it is solid and then melt? I really want to try this out this morning. Hope it turns out like the picture as its very tempting.
