Hi...this recipe sounds delicious and looks easy :)..two things tho...my oven goes to a max of 230 degrees C, so mus I bake mine much longer?? Approx how long pls and do we top wid piece of chocolate before or after baking :-)....thanks

I soak my onion rings for an hour in a milk and egg mixture. When its time to fry it, I bury them in a concoction of \'southern coating - mild\' and cake flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Then fry. Just like spur , you wouldnt know the difference if you were blind folded!

Buttermilk is better to use and if u dnt have just add 1 Tbsp vinegar/lemon juice to one cup milk and let stand for 5 mins or more and use that. Works perfectly. Happy baking!

Hi. I made these lemmingtons and they were tasty but the choc was very sticky and just felt too soft. I left them in the fridge over night and they were better but I could still feel the stickiness and they just looked soggy. Do I need to leave them in the fridge still? Also the syrup I made was runny. Is that how it\'s meant to be?
