Salaams. I'm thinking to make this, but don't want the hassle of the oven. Can I cook the chicken on the stove in a pot, and maybe afterwards layer it all up just for serving?

Made these kebaabs today with the lemon butter sauce. Very very tasty and soft. Ingredient measurements are perfect as well.... I just used both half TSP salt and half TSP aromat.

@Shaziah - I haven't tried yogurt in any sponge cake recipe yet. But that's one of substitutes instead of store bought buttermilk. All the best โจ๏ธ let me know how it came out!
@S_k_mansoor - I fill the filling in the cooked roti and seal with flour and water paste. I do re-cook the roti because if the flour paste, I just lightly toast the roti
