Slmz, I gave this a try and my family loved it ,shukran for sharing . I made a small error by using my black oven try and it was alittle too thin ,next round will use a smaller tray INSHA ALLAH . Was such a hit my kids even asked for it for school lunch today :-)

Cream cheese Glaze:
160g icing sugar
50g cream cheese
20g softened butter
Milk- to adjust the consistency to your preference. Some like it thick like a frosting, some as a thin sauce.
Also, add a drop of lemon juice if you want it tangy.

@S Patel - Make a plain chocolate cake or loaf, it's will still be moist omit the orange, you can use choc ganache or frosting buttercream for toppings, as you have buttermilk or double whipping cream..in the mixture . If orange is not your favourite the cake will still taste grand use vanilla so it's not too eggy... Hope that helps happy baking post pics here of your final product.. Love Fathima Mahomed

Hi there! I suugest halfing the batter for this recipe or use x2 tins and sandwich the cake with jam/icing/cream. The batter is a lot for a standard cake tin, or even a round deep tin and takes too long to bake. Thanks!
