I used chocolate I had, one flake and a half slap of cashew and coconut, it was so yummy. Great winter drink.

@Elbronice - Hello hope you are well.🤲. Beat the butter, oil, & castor sugar together until smooth. Add the vanilla & mix. Add mazeina & mix till well combined. Add flour gradually to form a soft dough.

I made mine today, however my mixture was not grainy after adding the first 3 ingredients, it was very liquid still. what did I do wrong?

Jzk, really tasty. Added about 1tbl maizena with the flour... Crispy and tasty. Going to try as a coffee biscuit insha Allah.

@Cosmicgirl - If you want to add condensed milk and cream, leave out the sugar and sweeten to taste with condensed milk and about half a can of nestle cream should do.
Slms, how much condensed milk and nestle cream needs to be added to make it creamier? The tips portion doesn't say.

Thanks for this lovely recipe. Super easy to make - my kids whacked it in one go. Also not TOO large a recipe, where you left with lots of leftovers...A favourite, now.
@Khadijah - All the best! Don't forget, halving the recipe means you'll have only 12 balls. So a stack of 6 instead of 8. And we use the off cuts for Samoosa chaat. Please let me know how it goes...
