Quick Easy Roti

You make the mixture on, when done making rest for 10 minutes in the bowl... Make in and long sausage like shape, adding flour to the surface on the table prevent from sticking, not to much flour cut into pieces... Then roll each one into the shape you like & dot with the butter & oil. Fry in hot pan with some oil firstly in the pan & fry for 2-3 mins on each side, flipping once. Njoy☺️ nice & golden brown.

Fluffy Puris

ø السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُم 🌸 Thank you soooooo much for this recipe ! I didn't know it was even possible to get puri's this light and fluffy! 😲 I used double cream yoghurt instead of buttermilk, and I cut the puri's into fairly thick rounds. While frying the puri's actually ballooned! and after draining it on kitchen paper these remained soffffffftt and fluffy and beautiful alhamdulillah 💕 I served with crumbed Chicken Cutlets. Next time I think I'm going to fill the puris and make mini Schwarmas 😋 Thank you so much again جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ خَيْرً 💖

@Mrs Ally - Jee, we use normal cake flour here. If you only have all purpose, maybe add an extra tablespoon of water? I've heard the protein levels are different.

Also, make sure to use as little flour as possible when rolling. It does make the roti a bit hard otherwise.

Roti looks for any reason to get tough so make sure it's tightly covered with Clingwrap and stored in an airtight container. Also, if it's very cold where you stay, it will really help to warm the rotis again before serving.
Keep at it! No matter how it turns out, it will always be far more delicious and nutritious than anything store-bought.
