Gulab Jamun ( Flop - Proof )
@Nayeema Ahmed - My mummy and I used the same recipe for gulag jamun, but mine flopped, while mums was absolutely perfect. My mummy uses nestle or clover condensed milk, while I used the cheaper la-italiana condensed milk.
When I made it again using the nestle or clover condensed milk, it turned out lovely!
Another friend of mums had the same experience with the different brands of condensed milk.
I'm not sure if this helps you, I just learned from this experience that the brand of condensed milk I use actually makes a difference to the gulab jamun.
