This was delicious even though I didnt use aniseed and coconut I added potatoes with some water after onions and when half done added rest of spices, tomatoe, cabbage and chopped dhania and i added in a tblp of tomato sauce and cooked till done. Yum

Jazakallahu khair Shabnum, the cake and frosting are both very tasty. I doubled the cake quantity but not the frosting - it was still more than enough. It's ideal for birthdays because of the soft sponge like texture there's no messy crumbs.

Wslm... I did not precook my chicken as in another Lagan recipe I used uncooked chicken. The chicken cooks perfectly even when put in raw.

@Irshaad - Sorry for the late reply. You can use left over chicken, or cook the chicken with salt, pepper, dhana, jeero, and some chilli powder. A dry chicken works better than a saucy chicken
