Hi. Tried this recipe. Rose in oven . Shriveled and sunk when I took it out of oven . Was disappointing. Cake went flat.

The taste is DELICIOUS though!!! I added some Kim powder to my dough, double rose essence and freshly ground cardamom.
Aslm. Made this recipe. I found that I needed to put in alot more flour than the recipe suggests in order for my dough to not be sticky. I added like 4.5 cups if I remember correctly. Maybe add less oil because of all the butter? I think just about half a cup should be sufficient.

Salaam, Jazaka Allah, made it today and came out divine.
Made these for the first time the other night. I needed an everyday biscuit recipe that was quick and used minimal ingredients so I decided to give it a go and it really delivered. My father in law and hubby enjoy it with their tea. I actually used Rama original instead and had no problems with the consistency of the dough, the biscuits also came out light and crisp. I also added a bit of rose essence as a variation and it gave it that little bit extra. Jazakallah for the recipe
