Tried yur recipe. I used sufficient milk to add to the egg and oil mixture to make a volume of 300mls. Despite decreasing the fluid volume the dough was very sticky and required an extra cup of flour. I followed the rest of the receipe as is. A very soft and moist inside with a crusty outside. Delicious with strawberry jam and cream accompanied with a cup of tea.

Slms tried this mine came out very soft but a bit on the oily side...once fried did you close while warm in an airtight container?
