I'm guessing in a pot. Once it's on high and all the liquid is out and the oil is left it starts frying and the chicken will get charred or almost like a braai look to it.

More or less how big are the Pitas? One or two is enough for one person right? I think 4 pita's will already be more than enough for just two of us. If i half your recipe I'll get 12 Pita's then which would leave me with a whole lot of extra dough or pita's. Can the dough or baked pita's be frozen?

tried this yesterday......im not sure if it worked for me...it baked for an hr n still had some water ...probably from the yoghurt ... which i did burn out and also is the onions sauted or not or is it mixed with the mushrooms?

Wow fantastic way to hide aubergine from my husband who doesn't favour it too much! Luckily I used panko crumbs as well regular breadcrumbs and it was a bit soft so would have been softer without.
Was really glad to find this recipe.. didn't know what I felt like eating the night for supper till I came across this and it was perfect! Colour was lighter for me.. perhaps as I used crushed chillies that weren't very red.. otherwise easy and tasty , jk :)
