@User-2020-09-06ezjvseqd - Start with 1 ½ cups then add half cup at a time ± 2-½ cups. Yes you can use magerine however the taste may not be as rich as would be with pure butter

@Tazzy - It depends how you like it. If you like it more saucy, you could add more water to make it more moist 😊 . Yours however does seem a bit on the dry side. Maybe serve it as a side next time.

Please tell me, in this recipe you mention 2 garlic cloves for such a huge amount of pineapples. Do you mean 2 bulbs of garlic or is it just 2 cloves?
