This tastes really good
I cut my chips super thin n after 90 mins they were still hard / raw
The chicken dried out
I will make it again but probably air fry the chips first
It's very flavourful !!

Hi. i have tried the recipe unfortunately it did not turn out as expected. the cake did not rise in fact it was a very dense cake. I have noticed that there was no baking powder or self raising flour used in the recipe so perhaps that could have been a contributing factor? i did whip the eggs as instructed in the method. :-(

It’s tricky to re-heat as the yolks sometimes cooks with even a little heat.

Rather buy a bottle of the sauce from pnp or woolies.

@Raeesah - Salaams Raeesah.Please measure your maziena correctly,the maziena makes the mixture thick.Also make sure it is dissolved completely before you add the mixture to the heated milk.You have to stir continuously,so it doesn’t become lumpy.l haven't timed it.l just check when the steam rises in the milk,than add the eggs,maziena and vanilla essence mixture.Please feel free to message me directly on instagram,l will take you through the steps when you making it❣️❣️
