I tried this ... mine seems more wettish and it steamed for very very very long ... I am not sure why but I am wondering if it's the crushed pineapple ...Ours is very pulpy The texture of my jardo Is almost like when moong dhal gets mushy.. although the rice grains are not mushy u can still pick out rice one at a time ....🤷♀️🤷♀️

This was delicious even though I didnt use aniseed and coconut I added potatoes with some water after onions and when half done added rest of spices, tomatoe, cabbage and chopped dhania and i added in a tblp of tomato sauce and cooked till done. Yum

Awesome recipe..unable to purchase the coimbra sauce from the Address as they do not sell directly to the public. Tried the veri peri hot sauce..still turned out divine..thank you for sharing 🌹
