This is definitely my go to recipe
Salaams. Lovely recipe..I added calabash to it..yummy!
I tryed your recipe. It came out tops. Thanks.
Simple and delicious. Definitely a keeper!
@Rukhsanna Vally-moosa - Aameen. Jazakallah for your feedback💕
@Yumna.r - Jazakallah for your feedback💕
@Tazzy - Thank you for the feedback and I'm happy it worked out for you . Probably the fat content from the chocolate saved it as well
@Flopproof Fathima - Yeah it was perfect without oil I was going to ask if the sour cream is a substitute for the fat (butter/ oil )
@Ruheena - oops such a big mistake I made jazakallah to bring to my attention it's 5 cups all together 2cups stage 1 and stage 2 3 cups
Alhamdulillah I tried this recipe. It was moist. I made a few changes. I used 1 cup oil, 7 tsp coloring, and 1 heaped tblsp cocoa powder. Next time I will follow Naseema comment below. I also made half the icing recipe and it was enough for me and I had a little left over. I will make it again. Insha Allah
@Flopproof Fathima - Shukr I was wondering Wanted to try it today N was abit confused coz no oil or butter But جزاک اللہ خیر
Quick question 😊 Is it 1 packet of white onion soup mix (like knorr or royco brands) to 250ml of cream? Thanks in advance ✨️
Loved it alhamdulilah, can decrease amount of butter and use another sauce if peri peri isn't available, a winner
@Tazzy - Ma'af I forgot to add the oil lol but did it turn out good?
@Mrs Admin (mashuda) - It does 1/2 cup oil......maaf I just saw this now. But looks like someone else tried it without oil and it worked lol. Love this recipe though, its delicious
So this recipe has no butter or oil ?
I add lemon juice from the fruit, taste is delicious 👌🍋
Tried this recipe, and the family absolutely loved it. 10 stars if I could
Quick Easy Yummy Great Cos I didn't have butter n I could still bake something
Family loved this so much and they already have a top Taco favourite , this topped that one
I made this rusk today. I had some leftover chocolate custard so I used that instead of sourmilk. I added about 1/2 cup cocoa, and 1/3 cup of choc chip. It's a very tasty light rusk. I often make it. Its quick and easy. I used some leftover custard once to make my dough. Once I used some fresh cream that was going sour, but still edible. Sometimes I put 2 Tblsp aniseed to the dough or some choc chip/ coconut/ oats/ nuts/ all bran flakes/ rice Krispies. You can do anything.
I make it in the deep black oven tray. Cut into 4 lengthwise or 5 (if you want smaller rusks). The dough is sticky. But leave it like that. Grease your hands with some butter and pat your dough. And bake.
Asalaamu alaikum. I tried this recipe and the snowballs came out beautifully. Alhamdulillah May Allah Swt reward you for your efforts
Tried these but wasn't too impressed. Cookies spread out too much.. even after adding more flour they still spread a lot. They were too sweet as well.. perhaps try halving both the sugars, and reducing the amount of chop chips.
@Shamimac - It was always on the recipe it has no baking powder cos of self raising..
Sooo delicious Family loved it
Great puris Easy n Quick Flop Proof
@Shamimac - And u made a double batch
@Naseema Khan (zulfis) - I think the bicard and salt were omitted from the directions.
@Shamimac - I wonder why ..cos Bicarb is the raising agent .so sorry
Best recipe ever. I don't even want to try another recipe
Made this recipe today. Mine came out doughy/mushy looking. Could this be bcoz there's no raising agent in the loaf?
Super soft and delicious
Now I can make my very own butter chicken at hoke. No need for take out. Many thanks.!

@Ayesha - Depends what consistency you want to keep. Usually upto 1 cup of milk is used with 1 tbsp flour,
@Mehroon - Correct. No flour
Made this and came out great. Sorry no pic.
