Sorry but the koeksister recipe was not right. The liquid itself was too much for two cups of flour. Lucky I added little at A time. Dough was good. When I put the fried koeksister into the syrup it got mushed up. Won't make this again.

@Nazir Jooman - Taj is cinnamon sticks. I personally wouldn't add the rose water. You could try if you like.
What is "Tajj"? Would adding a hint of Rose Water to the rice give a nice twist?
