@Summiyah Motala - Cucumber raita, especially if a little on the strong side, and a kachoomar, dahi and Papar are always excellent sides.
Jzk, quick and easy. Just added slt with rice and omitted all the vegetables.
Made this tonight, it was amazing!!! Jazakallah hu khayr for sharing! We grilled it on the braai stand and it was superb!

I made this filling, but instead of mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce, I added jalapeño sauce and chopped up jalapeño and as a dip I served it with sweet chilli sauce... It was so divine

Delicious! I would adjust for next time: Use 1 Tbsp less sugar in the dough Add extra green chilies and salt to the mash mixture

@Aaminah Minty - Assalaamu alaikum Hope u well. I'm not sure. Haven't tried freezing them. I'm sure u can after it's fried. Maybe thaw out n heat in low oven. Leme no if u try it n how it turns out. Jazaakallah

@Wardah - I still make my aknee like this I now use sujees masala as well. Always comes out perfect. Sorry about your experience maybe you didn't follow the recipe or put ingredients accordingly. Salaams, so it's baked like a biryani? Or do you cook the chicken with the onions first, then layer veg and rice to bake?
Salaams Fauziah. I froze them once shaped, then grilled in preheated 200°C oven for half and hour, then let it cool completely. Then just before serving I put in the airfryer at 200•C for 2 mins on each side. Didn't break shukr🤲. Very tasty mashallah
