Turkish Delight

So I didn't read the recipe correctly until i got to the add rose water and saw its not essence... oops...lol, ok, so i was too far in and threw in about 6/7ml Essence AND in a panic 3 or for drops candy floss essence as i was worried about the flavour - Alhamdulillah it cam out prefect in consistency and the taste is on point, i also threw on top toasted pistas after pouring it into the greased dish, but i would advise to allow the syrup to sit for a few minutes before or it gathers to the center and don't mix it in ... Just leave it on the top lol otherwise - very very pleased with the outcome - JazakALLAH!

Good recipe...it does spread out and I wish that I had made my balls alot rounder and smaller the first time but you get used to the size you prefer as you set it and after it bakes.

Almond Crescents

JazakAllah for this recipe it's a favourite!! came out perfect, I used almond nibs (Not sure if that's what was meant by ground almonds - so look forward to your response) and added a few drops of almond essence as seen on another recipe for the same biscuits - can't taste it lol - I added about 3 & 1/4 cups flour, but after 2 cups add in increments of 1/4 cup to see - Alhamdulillah it shaped very well!! JazakAllah Again!!
