Wonderful eid table recipe. Used whole chickens. Marinated using the dry spices for a bit (added more of each spice). Tip: Added boiled, peeled and wedge-cut potatoes separately, halfway during cooking. Was a hit.

Absolutely delicious! Hesitant on the sugar I added 1 and half teaspoons, no kalonji so I added mustard seeds. Scrumptious! Especially coming from someone who don't eat vegetables much, but I kept passing this recipe and it looked so good I had to try it! JazakAllah!

Gourmet Butter Cauliflower (with Chicken)

Cold smoke:
Place a small metal bowl (like the ones you get in the spice dabba!) or make a bowl with heavy-duty foil and place in pot. Heat a coal on the gas stove until red hot. Carefully transfer to the bowl. Add 2 teaspoons of ghee (Clarified butter) or butter and quickly close pot lid. Wait for 15 minutes before opening. This gives a lovely flame grilled taste and is worth the few extra minutes it takes

Maaf for only replying now.

This sounds like the dough was too soft. Please add more flour, to make dough firm enough to shape. Should not be sticky dough. And maybe make them slightly smaller, so that they can rise a little, without the shape changing.

I hope you try it again and let me know how it goes.

Mince & Spaghetti 🍝

I use this mince as my base for so many different dishes. If I want it dry I omit the sauces. I sometimes throw in a teaspoon of orange pepper. It was my husband that asked me to keep this as my mince recipe. Best ever!!! X
